# UNIT Integration

Major spot assets listed on Hyperliquid execute through the UNIT integration, giving you direct access to Hyperliquid's spot orderbook.

## What is UNIT?

UNIT provides spot trading access to assets listed on Hyperliquid's spot market. When you trade BTC, ETH, SOL, HYPE, or other Hyperliquid-listed tokens on Bullpen, orders route through UNIT to the Hyperliquid spot orderbook.

## Supported Assets

Current UNIT-supported assets on Bullpen:

| Asset    | Pair          | Volume (24h)\* |
| -------- | ------------- | -------------- |
| HYPE     | HYPE/USDC     | High           |
| BTC      | BTC/USDC      | High           |
| ETH      | ETH/USDC      | High           |
| SOL      | SOL/USDC      | High           |
| MON      | MON/USDC      | Medium         |
| XPL      | XPL/USDC      | Medium         |
| USDT     | USDT/USDC     | High           |
| FARTCOIN | FARTCOIN/USDC | Medium         |
| PUMP     | PUMP/USDC     | Medium         |

*Volume is indicative. Check the app for current figures.*

This list expands as Hyperliquid adds new spot markets.

## Why UNIT vs Jupiter?

| Factor | UNIT (Hyperliquid) | Jupiter Ultra (Solana) |
| -------------- | ------------------ | ---------------------- |
| Asset coverage | HL-listed only     | Any Solana token       |
| Execution      | Onchain orderbook  | AMM aggregation        |
| Settlement     | USDC               | Token-to-token         |
| Liquidity | Deep for majors | Varies by token |

For assets available on both, UNIT typically offers:

* Tighter spreads on major pairs
* Orderbook-style execution
* Consistent deep liquidity

## How It Works

1. You select a UNIT-supported asset on Bullpen
2. Place a buy or sell order
3. Order routes to Hyperliquid spot via UNIT
4. Executes against the onchain orderbook
5. Tokens settle to your account

The experience is seamless. You don't need to interact with UNIT directly.

## Order Types

UNIT spot trading supports:

* Market orders
* Limit orders (GTC, IOC, ALO)

Advanced order types (TWAP, scale orders, TP/SL) are available for perps but may have limited support for spot depending on the asset.

## Collateral

Spot trades settle in actual tokens:

* Buying BTC/USDC: You spend USDC, receive BTC
* Selling BTC/USDC: You spend BTC, receive USDC

Unlike perps, there's no leverage. You're trading the underlying asset 1:1.

## Fees

Spot trading fees on Hyperliquid vary by volume tier and maker/taker status. Check the Hyperliquid documentation or app for current fee schedules.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.bullpen.fi/execution/unit-integration.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
