# Runners & Memescope

Discover new tokens before they trend.

## Runners

Runners surface tokens that are gaining momentum in real-time. The algorithm tracks:

* Price velocity
* Volume spikes
* Holder growth
* Social signals

Use Runners to find tokens that are starting to move but haven't hit mainstream attention yet.

### How to Use Runners

1. Open the Discover section in Bullpen
2. Navigate to Runners
3. Browse tokens sorted by momentum
4. Click any token to view details and trade

Runners update continuously as market conditions change.

## Memescope

Memescope is a specialized scanner for early-stage memecoins and new token launches.

### Features

* **New Launches**: Track tokens just deployed to Solana
* **Bonding Curves**: Monitor tokens on Pump.fun and similar launchpads
* **Graduation Alerts**: See when tokens graduate to full DEX trading
* **Volume Filters**: Filter by 24h volume, market cap, holder count

### Finding Alpha

Memescope helps you:

1. Spot tokens in their first minutes/hours
2. Track pre-graduation bonding curve progress
3. Identify tokens with organic holder growth
4. Filter out obvious rugs/honeypots

## Token Insights

When you click on any token (from Runners, Memescope, or search), you see:

* **Price Chart**: TradingView-powered charting
* **Key Metrics**: Market cap, volume, holders, liquidity
* **Contract Info**: Address, supply, tax status
* **Social Links**: Twitter, Telegram, website
* **Holder Analysis**: Top holders, distribution

## Smart Wallet Integration

Runners and Memescope integrate with [Smart Wallet Tracking](/features/smart-wallet-tracking.md):

* See when tracked wallets buy/sell tokens on your watchlist
* Filter tokens by smart wallet activity
* Get alerts when influential wallets make moves

## Trading from Discovery

Every token in Runners/Memescope has one-click trading:

1. Find a token
2. Click Buy
3. Enter amount
4. Confirm trade

Bullpen routes to the appropriate venue (Jupiter Ultra for Solana tokens, UNIT for Hyperliquid-listed assets).

## Best Practices

* **Don't ape blindly**: Runners shows momentum, not fundamentals
* **Check contract**: Look for locked liquidity, no mint authority
* **Size appropriately**: New tokens are high risk
* **Set stops**: Use stop losses or plan your exit
* **DYOR**: Social signals and holder counts can be manipulated

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.bullpen.fi/features/runners-memescope.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
