# Smart Wallet Tracking

Track 12,000+ known traders and whales in real-time.

## Overview

Bullpen monitors thousands of wallets known for consistent profitability, early token discoveries, or market-moving size. When these wallets trade, you see it.

## What Gets Tracked

* **Buys and Sells**: Token purchases and sales with size
* **New Positions**: When a wallet enters a new token
* **Exit Signals**: When a wallet closes a position
* **Size Changes**: Significant adds or reduces

## Wallet Categories

Tracked wallets include:

| Category               | Description                                 |
| ---------------------- | ------------------------------------------- |
| **Whales** | Large holders who move markets |
| **Early Buyers** | Wallets that consistently find tokens early |
| **Profitable Traders** | Historically high win rates |
| **Influencers** | Known CT figures (public wallets only) |
| **Smart Money** | Algorithmic or institutional patterns |

## Using the Feed

The Smart Wallet feed shows:

1. **Wallet identifier** (address or known alias)
2. **Action** (Buy/Sell)
3. **Token** with current price
4. **Size** in USD
5. **Timing** (how recent)

Click any entry to:

* View the token's page
* See the wallet's full history
* Copy trade with one click

## Filtering

Filter the feed by:

* **Wallet category**: Focus on specific types
* **Token type**: Memecoins, DeFi, etc.
* **Size threshold**: Minimum trade size
* **Recency**: Last hour, 24h, etc.

## Alerts

Set up notifications for:

* Specific wallets you follow
* Specific tokens you're watching
* Size thresholds (e.g., >$50k buys)
* Category-wide moves

See [Notifications](/features/notifications.md) for setup.

## Copy Trading

When you see a smart wallet move you want to follow:

1. Click the trade in the feed
2. Click "Copy Trade"
3. Set your size
4. Execute

Bullpen routes to the appropriate venue automatically.

## Wallet Analysis

Click any wallet to see:

* **Win Rate**: % of profitable trades
* **ROI**: Historical returns
* **Holding Period**: Average time in positions
* **Top Tokens**: Most traded assets
* **Recent Activity**: Last 30 days

## Privacy Note

Bullpen only tracks publicly visible onchain activity. All blockchain transactions are public by nature, and we're just making them easier to analyze.

## Limitations

* **Past performance ≠ future results**: Even the best wallets have losing trades
* **Front-running risk**: By the time you see a trade, price may have moved
* **False signals**: Whales sometimes distribute to watchers
* **Context missing**: You don't know the wallet's full strategy

Use smart wallet data as one input, not the only input.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.bullpen.fi/features/smart-wallet-tracking.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
