Trading
What chains does Bullpen support?
Hyperliquid: Perpetual futures and major spot assets
Solana: All SPL tokens via Jupiter Ultra
More chains coming soon.
How do fees work?
Fees depend on the execution venue:
Hyperliquid Spot: No builder fees are charged on spot buys. Sell orders are charged at 10 bps
Jupiter Ultra: Route-dependent, displayed before you trade
What's the minimum trade size?
No strict minimum, but very small trades may be uneconomical due to gas fees. For Solana gasless swaps, the minimum is ~$10 USD.
Perps Trading
What's the maximum leverage?
Up to 50x on major pairs (BTC, ETH). Varies by asset. Check the trading interface for specific limits.
How does funding work?
Funding payments occur hourly. If the perp price > index price, longs pay shorts (and vice versa). The funding rate shown in the app is the expected next payment as a percentage.
What happens if I get liquidated?
Your position is closed at the mark price. Remaining margin (if any) returns to your account. If losses exceed your margin, the deficit is handled by Hyperliquid's insurance fund and ADL system.
Spot Trading
Why do some tokens route to different exchanges?
Bullpen routes to the best venue for each asset:
Hyperliquid-listed tokens (BTC, ETH, SOL, HYPE, etc.) → UNIT/Hyperliquid spot
All other Solana tokens → Jupiter Ultra
This gives you the best execution for each trade.
What is Jupiter Ultra?
Jupiter Ultra is Jupiter's meta-aggregation layer that finds the best execution across all Solana liquidity. It includes MEV protection, sub-second landing, and typically achieves positive slippage.
What about MEV/sandwich attacks?
Jupiter Ultra uses ShadowLane for MEV protection. Transactions never touch external mempools, eliminating front-running and sandwich attacks.
Transfers
How long do cross-chain transfers take?
Solana <> Hyperliquid: 30 seconds to 2 minutes
Ethereum to Hyperliquid: 5-15 minutes
Within Hyperliquid (perps <> spot): Instant
My transfer is stuck. What do I do?
Wait a few more minutes. Cross-chain transfers sometimes take longer during network congestion. If over 10 minutes with no progress, logout and log back in. As a final attempt, contact support via a ticket.
